Too often, we “ordinary” 9-5’ers trivialize the work we do, forgetting the contributions we provide with our efforts. Society often perpetuates our feelings of smallness by glorifying a notion of wealth based on “the mighty dollar.” This songs reminds me my work is meaningful, no matter how trivial it may seem in the moment.
